For over 20 years, ESIP meetings have brought together the most innovative thinkers and leaders around Earth observation data, thus forming a community dedicated to making Earth observations more discoverable, accessible and useful to researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and the public. The theme of this year’s meeting is Leading Innovation in Earth Science Data Frontiers.

Madison develops tools and workflows to make the ScienceBase data release process more efficient for researchers and data managers. She also promotes data management best practices through the USGS’s Community for Data Integration Data Management Working Group and the USGS Data Management Website. Madison is responsible for maintaining the ScienceBase Data Release Tool and the Digital Object Identifier Tool.
